Philippine Health Insurance cards
Three thousand eight hundred eighty four residents of Silay City received Philippine Health Insurance cards Monday, June 15 during the Philhealth sponsored program orientation and card distribution held at the Natalio G. Velez Sports and Cultural Center.
In his message, City Mayor Jose L. Montelibano was thankful for Gov. Isidro Zayco’s Provincial PhilHealth Indigency Program saying that the program is a great help to all beneficiaries of the city and the province as well.
“We have targeted a total of 8,000 Silaynon enrollees for this program,” he said adding that another batch of recipients will be awarded soon.
The number of enrollees for the Philhealth cards per barangay is as follows – 80 recipients from Brgy. 1; 148 from Brgy. II; 32 from Brgy. III; 145 from Brgy. IV; 120 from Brgy. V; 327 from Brgy. Bagtic; 199 from Brgy. Balaring; 259 from Brgy. Hawaiian; and 149 from Brgy. Kapitan Ramon. Six hundred eighty from Brgy. E. Lopez; 163 fromBrgy. Guimbalaon; 409 from Brgy. Guinhalaran; 275 from Brgy. Lantad; 551 from Brgy. Mambulac; 103 from Brgy. Patag and 310 from Brgy. Rizal.
Montelibano distributed the cards together with all the barangay captains of Silay City and Philippine health representatives, Mr. Edgar Yocariza and Ms. Junalyn Belonio.
