OFFICE PROFILE:

The office of the City Civil Registrar, Silay City is essentially devoted to the delivery of information and services relative to Civil Registration and Population Development.  This rather unique institutional role of the office was defined at its inception in 1993, when it performed a direct program management function in Civil Registration, in tandem with Population development and Management Program at the local government level.

In October 12, 2001, the Office of the City Civil Registrar started to implement R.A. 9048.  Since then, we have been continually receiving and processing petitions relative to this.  The implementation of R.A. 9048 involves the following:

Correction of Clerical Error
Change of First name
Migrant Petition

In our continuing commitment to public service, the LCR-Silay City from now on will be posting the list of following petitions under R.A. 9048 that have already been affirmed by the CRG (Civil Registrar General).  The petitioners/or duly authorized representatives are likewise advised to visit the Office of the City Civil Registrar for Endorsement to NSO for issuance of annotated SECPA (Security Paper):
