Let's make Silay No. 1
"Let's make Silay No. 1" Challenged Mayor Oti to the newly installed Schools Division Superintendent of DepED Division of Silay City last Jan. 30, 2012 at the Civic Center.
This challenge posted by the city mayor was accepted by Dr. Neri Anne Montes Alibuyog. In her speech, Alibuyog acknowledged and thanked the good mayor for the cordial welcome extended to her by Mayor Oti and the whole Silaynon.
"The negative feedback I have heard about this City were all erased since I have never thought of such friendly and accommodating people like you," said Alibuoyg.
" Let's work hand in hand so that Silay will be no. 1. I cannot do this alone."
Upon her assumption of office, Alibuyog conducted meetings with the Education Program Supervisors, District Supervisors, Non- teaching personnel and principals. She gathered information from these people and listened to each one's concerns. She further stressed that she will do what she can to answer the problems of the division.
Together with EPS 1 Marjorie B. Bastida and Minda Bandola, the new SDS monitored schools and classes of the ff: Adela Elem. School, Lantad, Gov. E. Gaston, SPED, Don E. Hofileña and Silay South Elem. School.
She was likewise introduced to the teachers of each school.
