DMLMHS DOFPEA CANTEEN OPENS
A simple inauguration program was done in the afternoon of January 8, 2010 signaling the operation of the newly constructed Dona Montserrat Faculty and Personnel Association Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DOFPEA-MPC) Store building at its new site which is adjacent to the SPA building beside DMLMHS Covered court. It was commenced through a thanksgiving prayer by Ms. Marissa C. Plantinos, DOFPEA-MPC Board Member. That cool afternoon was warmed up by a welcome remarks from the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Gualberto Balsicas. A message from the school principal Mr. Wilfredo O. Hermosura inspired everyone to continue do their share in rebuilding the cooperative. The blessing and dedication homily delivered by Fr. Dado Latoza gave spiritual fervor and hope that by God’s grace and wisdom, the cooperative will continue to exist and provide services to its members. DOFPEA-MPC Chairman Mr. Joelo Imperial, closed the program with a challenge to all members to be committed to the ideals of DOFPEA-MPC, after which a sumptuous snack was enjoyed by everybody.
The construction of the one-hundred thirty thousand plus DOFPEA-MPC store building was realized through the concerted efforts of its Board of Directors and Officers, the members, and the School Principal Mr. Wilfredo O. Hermosura, who has been very supportive of the cooperative’s endeavor to uplift its status and gain the trust of its members.
The DOFPEA has been serving its members and had been a great help to its members ever since it was organized in 1986. The cooperative is SEC recognized and majority of its members had undergone seminar regarding cooperative management.
Cash, financial assistance, sick and death aid, and emergency loans are extended to all its members.
